LAMS Theatre Presents Detention

In the spring of 1969, Mr. Donahue serves at Clearbrook High School as the history teacher, but also as the detention supervisor. And when six kids are sentenced to ‘hard time,’ it’s up to him to decide how they should serve it. Then it hits him: (in the form of a crumbled paper ball that just missed the trash can) “Musical Theatre Auditions.”

Hilarity ensues as the high school stereotypes must step out of their comfort zones and work as a team to pull off the musical. Can they put aside their pride and their differences? Will they dedicate themselves to the production or bail at the last minute? But most importantly, will they learn to take responsibility for their mistakes and their futures?
