WJTL

The Junction Center is the broadcast home of WJTL, and we share the vision: Christ. Community. Music.

90.3 FM

WJTL is a listener supported, non-commercial radio station that plays the Best Mix of Contemporary Christian Music.

We value our involvement in the local and international community through promoting and attending live events, interviewing organizations and ministries on The Morning Show, bringing awareness to our listeners about missions opportunities all over the world and even heading out ourselves. We also LOVE to give things away and are always looking for fun ideas for contests!

A Little History

WJTL came to being August 28, 1984. We were Lancaster’s first all Contemporary Christian Radio Station. Our current Program Director and Station Managers: John Shirk and Fred McNaughton have both been around since the beginning, along with our friends Eric Lee, Chris Silver, Bill Neff, Ben Krothe, and Paul Logsdon. We went 24 hours in March of 1985 and also went stereo that year. A little more trivia: the first song played, as voted by the listeners was Servant’s “We Are The Light.” Once we increased power in 1996, WJTL could finally be heard throughout Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Lebanon and most of Central Pennsylvania.
