This seven-week session will focus on character building: who are you on stage? What are your thoughts and motivations? How do you feel about your surroundings and others? And how do you reveal all of it in the most meaningful way to the audience? Students will examine existing characters through script plus explore and develop a character from their own imaginations. Students will build confidence and develop life skills through age-appropriate\, fun games and exercises both individually and in teams.  \nYou may recognize Encore! Homeschool Productions from their Apollo Award–winning performances at Landis Hall at The Junction Center\, including Don Zolidis’ Deadline and Seussical the Musical. Encore Theatre Academy is an exciting new extension of Encore! Home School Productions. They provide a safe\, encouraging\, and joy-filled environment where every student feels comfortable to share ideas\, take risks\, and yes—look a little silly! Equipping student actors with skills for the stage and for life.\nAll are welcome! Students do not need to be a part of homeschooling to register.\nThe Fall Workshop is your all-access pass to every Saturday class in the fall session—one registration\, the full experience! Unlike a drop-in class\, this acting workshop is an immersive\, relationship-building fall program that inspires growth\, collaboration\, and confidence in theatre.\nWhile this is a skills-based class (not a full production)\, families are invited to join for a special “Share Time” showcase on November 14\, where students can demonstrate what they’ve learned.\nSaturday Workshop Sessions\nEncore is thrilled to launch its very first Fall Workshop Session 2026\, featuring two engaging classes for grades 4-6 and 7-12.\nStudent Sessions are each Saturday in September through November\, excluding the last Saturday of each month.\nSessions are split by grade level.\nSession Dates Include:\nSaturdays — September 12\, October 10\, 17\, 24\, 31 and November 7\, 14\n  \n\n\nFirst Session (Grades 4–6): 9:00—10:30 a.m.\n\n\nSecond Session (Grades 7–12): 10:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m.\n\n\nWhether you’re brand-new to theatre or already love the stage\, this program is for you—no experience necessary\, just a big imagination!\nAbout The Student Theatre Instructors\nAll Encore instructors maintain current clearances\, and each class is taught by two experienced teachers for an engaging and supportive learning experience.\nJill Panyard – Area director and acting teacher for Encore and Hershey Area Playhouse. SUMMARY:Grace Graber Presents Mental Health Nights The Tour with Adam Verdi
DESCRIPTION:Grace Graber Presents Mental Health Nights The Tour with Adam Verdi\nSunday\, October 25 at 7:00 pm\nLandis Hall at The Junction Center\, Manheim\nGrace Graber is an upcoming pop/punk Christian artist out of Nashville\, TN. Grace combines raw storytelling with a viral social media presence that has earned her over 70\,000 followers on Instagram and 50\,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Her authenticity and advocacy have struck a chord with fans navigating the messy intersection of belief and mental health — a message that’s become her ministry. Grace first caught national attention when she was named The Next Big Thing at the WeLoveChristian Music Awards in 2021. That momentum soared in 2025 when her debut album TheBreakthrough won Pop Album of the Year at the same awards. The project offers an unflinching look at her personal mental health journey while extending solidarity and hope to others walking the same road. Tracks like “Grace of God” and “Breakthrough” aren’t just songs — they’re lifelines for listeners who see themselves in Grace’s story. Once a suicidal teenager battling PTSD from relentless bullying\, Grace found hope through music —particularly in a Hawk Nelson song that helped her hold on. Years later\, in a beautiful full-circle moment\, she collaborated with Hawk Nelson’s founding vocalist Jason Dunn on “This One’s For You\,” a track from her Conversations EP written for anyone in that same dark place. Now\, Grace is continuing to release new music and is currently working on her highly anticipated sophomore album. \n***\nDoors \nEarly Entry: 6:00 pm \nGA & Mezzanine: 6:15 pm \nShowtime: 7:00 pm \n***\nAccessible seating is available on the main floor.\nFor questions and accommodations\, please contact boxoffice@thejunctioncenter.com or call 717-459-3701 \niTickets is the official ticketing provider for this event. SUMMARY:Russ Taff & Steve Taylor The [Almost] Farewell Tour
DESCRIPTION:Russ Taff & Steve Taylor The [Almost] Farewell Tour\nSunday November 1 at 2:00 pm\nLandis Hall at The Junction Center\, Manheim\nThe Almost Farewell Tour follows the recent release of Taff’s acclaimed new album\,Cover Story. Executive produced by Taylor(Sixpence None the Richer\, Newsboys)\,produced by John Mark Painter(Fleming & John\, Ben Folds\, Seven dust)\,and mixed byMattWallace(Faith No More\, TheReplacements)\, Cover Story marks perhaps the most singularly special albumin Taff’s extraordinary four-decade career\, chronicling his remarkable life’s journey with impassioned performances of timeless songs by such masters as Bob Dylan\, U2\,Prince\, Simon & Garfunkel\, and more. Highlights include renditions of Depeche Mode’s “People Are People\,” Blind WillieJohnson’s “Tear This Building Down\,” and an intensely powerful take on The National’s “Demons.” \nFrom a troubled childhood in a small Pentecostal church in California’s San Joaquin Valley to the top of the charts\, from impossible heights of creative success to his hard-won battle with the bottle\, Russ Taff has told the story of his extraordinary life countless times over the course of his career–but never quite like this. Taff has of course had a land mark career by any standard\, earning six GRAMMY® Awards\, 16 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards\, and induction into theGospel Music Association (GMA) Hall of Fame an unprecedented three times—as a solo artist as well as a member of both The Imperials and The Gaither Vocal Band. \nPraised by Billboard as “the single most electrifying voice in Christian music\,” Taff has inspired like-minded artists from Kings of Leon to Mercy Me with an influential singing style and body of work that includes such landmark albums as his GRAMMY® Award-winning solo debut\,1983’s Walls of Glass\, 1985’s break through Medals\, and 1989’s chart-topping smash\, The Way Home. Co-written by Taff with his beloved wife Tori\, classic songs such as“We Will Stand\,” “I Cry\,” “NotGonna Bow” and “Farther On” have related his spiritual journey with stunning power and deeply personal detail\, how he was brought low by trauma and addiction and raised up again through the power of love and faith.I n 2018\, Taff’s story was further told in the acclaimed documentary\, Russ Taff: I Still Believe\, which saw a nationwide release in over 700 theaters. Taff has continued to be exceptionally candid regarding his private struggles over the years\, most recently including an in-depth interview on Mark Laita’s hugely popular Soft White Underbelly podcast that has received more than half a million views via YouTube. \nHailed by Prismas a “renaissance man\,” musician/filmmaker/writer/producer/entrepreneur Steve Taylor has created a remarkably diverse body of work over the past four decades. Taylor’s recording career began in 1983 and spans both solo work–including such GRAMMY® Award-nominated albums as 1984’s Meltdown and 193’s Squint–as well as founding the groundbreaking alternative rock band Chagall Guevara and fronting the supergroup Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil. In 1994\, Taylor’s wide-ranging song craft was celebrated with the all-star tribute album\, I  Predict a Clone: A Steve Taylor Tribute. Meanwhile\, Taylor has proven an in-demand producer with a track record that includes 1997’s Platinum-certified self-titled third album from Sixpence None The Richer (highlighted of course by the 3x Platinum\, worldwide #1 hit single\, “KissMe” and the Gold-certified “There She Goes”) along with three Gold-certified albums for Newsboys\,1994’s Going Public\, 1996’s Take Me To Your Leader\, and 2003’s Adoration\, all four of which earned GRAMMY® Award nominations. \nTaylor’s work as a music video director and filmmaker saw him make history as the only artist to twice win Billboard Music Video Awards for self-directed music videos and also includes iconic music videos for such artists as Sixpence None the Richer\, Newsboys\,Fleming & John\, Rich Mullins\, and more. Taylor has also crafted a remarkably award-winning body of work as the director\, writer\, producer of numerous feature films\, documentaries\, animated TV series\, and more\, including producing last summer’s acclaimed theatrical release\, Sketch\, with Tony Hale for writer/director Seth Worley. He has written essays on music and film for Talkhouse.com\, and currently serves as Director of the School of Theatre and Cinematic Arts\, Assistant Professor and Filmmaker-In-Residence at Lipscomb University in Nashville\, where he resides with his wife\, the artist D.L. Taylor\, and their daughter. \n***\nDoors\nVIP: 12:00 pm \nFloor & Mezzanine: 1:00 pm \nShowtime: 2:00 pm\n***\nAccessible seating is available on the main floor.\nFor questions and accommodations\, please contact boxoffice@thejunctioncenter.com or call 717-459-3701 \niTickets is the official ticketing provider for this event.
