DESCRIPTION:Encore Theatre Academy— Presents An Acting Workshop This Fall\nSaturdays\, September-November 2026\nLandis Hall at The Junction Center\, Manheim\nJoin Encore Theatre Academy Saturday mornings in September through November at Landis Hall at The Junction Center for a seven-week student theatre session\, jumping on stage and into the art of Improv!\nAbout The Fall Student Theatre Workshop \nThe Fall Session will explore How Do You Create a Character? This seven-week session will focus on character building: who are you on stage? What are your thoughts and motivations? How do you feel about your surroundings and others? And how do you reveal all of it in the most meaningful way to the audience? Students will examine existing characters through script plus explore and develop a character from their own imaginations. Students will build confidence and develop life skills through age-appropriate\, fun games and exercises both individually and in teams.  \nYou may recognize Encore! Homeschool Productions from their Apollo Award–winning performances at Landis Hall at The Junction Center\, including Don Zolidis’ Deadline and Seussical the Musical. Encore Theatre Academy is an exciting new extension of Encore! Home School Productions. They provide a safe\, encouraging\, and joy-filled environment where every student feels comfortable to share ideas\, take risks\, and yes—look a little silly! Equipping student actors with skills for the stage and for life.\nAll are welcome! Students do not need to be a part of homeschooling to register.\nThe Fall Workshop is your all-access pass to every Saturday class in the fall session—one registration\, the full experience! Each class builds momentum\, helping performers grow their imagination\, boost stage confidence\, practice think-on-your-feet courage\, and leave the Fall Workshop Session 2026 improv-ready at the drop-of-a-hat!\nWith Encore Theatre Academy’s professional and caring instructors\, students get the consistency they need to strengthen their personal improv toolkit week after week. Unlike a drop-in class\, this acting workshop is an immersive\, relationship-building fall program that inspires growth\, collaboration\, and confidence in theatre.\nWhile this is a skills-based class (not a full production)\, families are invited to join for a special “Share Time” showcase on November 14\, where students can demonstrate what they’ve learned.\nSaturday Workshop Sessions\nEncore is thrilled to launch its very first Fall Workshop Session 2026\, featuring two engaging classes for grades 4-6 and 7-12.\nStudent Sessions are each Saturday in September through November\, excluding the last Saturday of each month.\nSessions are split by grade level.\nSession Dates Include:\nSaturdays — September 12\, October 10\, 17\, 24\, 31 and November 7\, 14\n  \n\n\nFirst Session (Grades 4–6): 9:00—10:30 a.m.\n\n\nSecond Session (Grades 7–12): 10:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m.\n\n\nWhether you’re brand-new to theatre or already love the stage\, this program is for you—no experience necessary\, just a big imagination!\nAbout The Student Theatre Instructors\nAll Encore instructors maintain current clearances\, and each class is taught by two experienced teachers for an engaging and supportive learning experience.\nJill Panyard – Area director and acting teacher for Encore and Hershey Area Playhouse. Grace combines raw storytelling with a viral social media presence that has earned her over 70\,000 followers on Instagram and 50\,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Her authenticity and advocacy have struck a chord with fans navigating the messy intersection of belief and mental health — a message that’s become her ministry. Grace first caught national attention when she was named The Next Big Thing at the WeLoveChristian Music Awards in 2021. That momentum soared in 2025 when her debut album TheBreakthrough won Pop Album of the Year at the same awards. The project offers an unflinching look at her personal mental health journey while extending solidarity and hope to others walking the same road. Tracks like “Grace of God” and “Breakthrough” aren’t just songs — they’re lifelines for listeners who see themselves in Grace’s story. Once a suicidal teenager battling PTSD from relentless bullying\, Grace found hope through music —particularly in a Hawk Nelson song that helped her hold on. Years later\, in a beautiful full-circle moment\, she collaborated with Hawk Nelson’s founding vocalist Jason Dunn on “This One’s For You\,” a track from her Conversations EP written for anyone in that same dark place.
